The Kinder Clinic’s mission is to provide patient-centered, community-based comprehensive health care to people of all ages in Allen Parish and beyond. Our independent clinic allows patients from across Southwest Louisiana a voice in their care, easy access to their board-certified providers, and the convenience of a clinic close to home.
Our
Story
In the early 2020s, Dr. Alex Courville found himself worn out by the patient-second demands of many hospital systems. Too often, larger systems force patients through inefficient administrative channels just to connect with their providers; they’re directed within the system, rather than to the best available resources regardless of affiliation; and they’re often left with no real voice in their own care. Wait times are long, appointment times are short, and it’s the patients who get left behind. Dr. Courville envisioned a better way – The Kinder Clinic.

Today, The Kinder Clinic offers patients better access to their providers and the opportunity to act as partners in their own care. They're never forced into too-short appointments, routed through call centers to speak to their providers, or left waiting well past their scheduled appointment times.

Wholly owned and operated by Kinder natives Dr. Alex Courville and Dr. Dakota Johnson, the clinic has no third-party investors, private equity companies, or other outside owners. It's community-owned, community-focused, and community-driven.
